My first 200 hours TTC with Kaya Yoga was the next stage on my own journey of healing severe scoliosis and alignment issues. I was expecting mostly physical alignment, but little did I know that this huge learning process would bring mental and spiritual alignment as well! Now I’m about to finish my 500-hours with Kaya Yoga school and become a teacher myself with the deep understanding of not only what scoliosis is, but most other back issues and the majority of health- and emotional issues. The Teacher Training not only gave me knowledge and practical tools, but encouraged me to do my own research, investigations and explorations; empowered me to improve myself and to inspire other people It gave me a strong discipline and deep understanding of responsibility when it comes to a working with people. By the end of my second TTC with Kaya Yoga I feel confident in working almost with any health issues with different ranges of severity. I feel that I possess wide a deep understanding of many inner and outer processes going on in our human existence, and can be of great use for those people who are stepping into this important journey. I can summarize right now the place where I am as: My scoliosis is almost healed, I don’t practice anymore, but dance my own Yoga, I’m feeling very inspired and ready to inspire others!
Yoga Teacher Training Location
Our Yoga Teacher Training Course is held at a beautiful resort 20 minutes from the center of Dubai. Being on this Teacher Training is like being on a little mini retreat every workshop. The on site cafe provides healthy smoothies and meals for those who wish to enjoy the full resort experience. Looking out over the beautiful polo fields, this promises to be a true treat and mini-getaway experience every month.

Kaya will take you on a journey of understanding Yoga and it’s therapeutic applications from the inside out. With over 12 years of experience in teaching clients with physical and emotional pains and injuries, Kaya specializes in using Yoga asana, pranayama and meditation to improve life. In addition she teaches the Yoga Sutra’s of Patanjali, Yoga entrepreneurship and shares her personal experience of building a prime Yoga brand in the Middle East.

Cristina first found yoga in 2009 when a friend brought her to a donation based power yoga class in Santa Monica, California. This sweaty physical practice promptly grabbed her attention and she started practicing regularly as a way to connect to her body and unwind her mind. Her yoga journey evolved and intensified with the loss of her mother in 2009. She used the time on my mat to grieve and work through a wave of emotions. In the process, Cristina ended up gathering a new source of abundance and a desire to share this peace with others. She completed 2 vinyasa yoga teacher training programs in 2012 and made the transition from tutoring math to teaching yoga.
In 2013 she moved to Dubai for an international graduate degree (MBA) and incidentally met her now husband teaching yoga in the park. Today she is still based in Dubai and her intention in teaching is to help people get to know their bodies more deeply by way of flows that empower and benefit physically and mentally. Cristina has led 6 yoga teacher trainings in the USA, Dubai and Vietnam.

Marylene is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT-500 yoga teacher who specializes in Yoga anatomy, therapeutic applications of Yoga, Corporate Yoga and Yoga for depression, stress, and anxiety. Her passion for yoga took a new turn when she helped a friend overcome depression through yoga. Curious about what other benefits a holistic approach to yoga could bring, she devoted her time and energy to study the 8 limbs of yoga. Splitting her life between a successful international corporate career and teaching yoga, she perfectly understood how everyday demands can get in a way of a healthy body and healthy mind, and used this experience to teach corporate yoga. In 2016, she decided to leave her corporate career to pursue a PhD in Osteopathy to deepen her knowledge of the physical body. She also completed her certifications as Reiki Master and Mindfulness coach. Today, Marylene teaches private and group classes, and co-host Yoga Teacher Trainings in Bali, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Using her own experience as a guide, she approaches yoga in a holistic way to help clients and students find peace of mind and regain self-confidence. Passionate of anatomy and yoga philosophy, she playfully combines elements of mindfulness, breath work, asanas, and physical therapy to help her students achieve their specific goals. To date, Marylene has trained more than 150 yoga teachers from all over the world.

As well as being passionate about food, Mia is equally as passionate about Yoga – having practiced Yoga for nearly 7 years now, she undertook her first Yoga teacher training over 5 years ago in Asia. She has a special interest in Yoga Therapy and Yoga for Women’s Wellness, Pre- and Post natal.
Mia consults private clients and corporates in relation to natural health through her yoga sessions as well as offering one on one health coaching, cooking classes, health writing and, coming soon, wellness retreats.
In her spare time, Mia loves to write and is a regular contributor to the popular online magazine Sassy Mama. Mia is also a busy mum to two beautiful kids and her fur son Zhiggy.

Having contracted a major case of wanderlust, Emilie has traveled the world, working as journalist and teaching movement. After a second surgery on her spine, Emilie followed a lengthy Pilates rehabilitation program and, amazed by the results in her own body, became a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor in 2008. Emilie has taught in Thailand, South Africa, and San Francisco. She is a Yoga Therapist and E-RYT and has completed her trainings with YogaWorks and Yoga Tree San Francisco, before earning her Yoga Tune Up® certification from Jill Miller. She has also spent hundreds of hours assisting her mentor, physiotherapist Harvey Deutch, at RedHawk Physical Therapy clinic in San Francisco, in teacher trainings, and on retreats at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. Blending dynamic movement with therapeutic releases, Emilie’s classes will empower you to move more intelligently so you can live better in your body and keep practicing the activities you love for a long time, pain-free.

Dalya Tabari started her spiritual journey over 10 years ago leading her to embrace and
integrate the yoga philosophy in her every day life. An avid traveler, she is grateful to have

Module 1 – February 25, 26, 27 – Introduction and first practice weekend, basic practices, Yoga history, Yogic attitude training
Module 2 – March 11, 12, 13 – Foundations of self-practice, In depth Yoga asana, Yoga philosophy
Module 3 – April 15, 16, 17 – Foundations of self-practice II, teaching classes, Yoga philosophy
Module 4 – May 6, 7, 8 – Anatomy of breathing, respiratory problems, how to work with breathing problems
Module 5 – May 27, 28, 29 – Anatomy of the spine, working with back problems, scoliosis, In depth spinal alignment
Module 6 – June 17, 18, 19 – Yoga for depression, anxiety and stress, therapeutic poses and their benefits, Yoga anatomy
Exams for the 200-hour training: July 8, 9, 10 (exams are partly online, partly in person)
MODULE DATES FOR 300-HOUR EXTENSION
Module 7 – August 15 – 21 – Bali or Dubai In- Depth Practice Retreat – This retreat will take place in Dubai or Bali and offers a wide variety of content, healing, anatomy, Yoga Therapeutics, In Depth Yoga Philosophy and Teaching Practice.
Module 8 – September 16, 17, 18 – Exam Preparation & Yoga Entrepreneurship/Business Module
Exams for the 300-hour training: September 24, 25, 26 (exams are partly online, partly in person)
